Author Biography

Lynnette Smith and M A Florence are sisters. They created this poem in one day while visiting the Denver Natural History Museum. M A Florence has previously published poems and short stories in various anthologies and a murder mystery (Red Flag Warning). This is her first experience as an illustrator and writer of a children's book. She lives southwestern Utah. Lynnette Smith lives in Denver, Colorado. This is her first publishing experience.
