In 1976, he became the CEO. In 1994, PTN Publishing Company acquired the family firm.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003ePellegrin spent more than twenty-six years in publishing, beginning with his first magazine as a student at the University of Wisconsin. During his career, he developed more than thirty magazines. He served as the chairman of the American Business Press trade organization in 92-93. Following the successful sale of his family business, he was an executive in residence at the international graduate business school, IMD, in Lausanne, Switzerland. He earned a Doctorate at Business School Lausanne, where he wrote his dissertation on selling family companies.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eIn 1995, Pellegrin was named one of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's distinguished business alumni.
