His short stories have appeared in \u003ci\u003eOne Story, Missouri Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, The O. Henry Prize Stories\u003c\/i\u003e, and elsewhere. His essay on the moral and political complexity of mendacity was published in \u003ci\u003eThe Washington Post, \u003c\/i\u003e and his first play, \u003ci\u003eQuartet\u003c\/i\u003e, was performed by the Takács Quartet and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.
