The breech loading shotgun would have been no use without its cartridges. Much has already been written about the histories of shotguns, but very little about the many cartridges that were loaded into the breeches. This book contains drawings of a large number of examples of cartridges and cartridge firms, many of which have not appeared in Ken's previous titles. It is a companion to the previous works which collectively offer a record of Ken's extensive drawings detailing the history of shotgun cartridges. It should bring back much nostalgia to many older shooting folk.
