This workbook is written for the person who wants to become a chaperon for an adult with a sexual behavior problem. If you are that person, if you are the one who wants to become a chaperon, you deserve a pat on the back. You are going to take on an important job. It will not be an easy job. Because of your willingness to help, you deserve praise. You also deserve praise for another reason. In order for you to be willing to meet with professionals and discuss difficult topics, you must really want to help the individual with the sexual behavior problem. You want the best for him or her, even if it means a sacrifice for you. For all of this, you deserve praise. In the lessons that follow, you will learn a lot about sexual misconduct. Sex is usually a private thing that is not discussed in public. So, a lot of care was taken to make sure that you don't have to listen to or talk about unnecessary things. When we discuss sex, we discuss only those things that we must discuss. We discuss these things because that it is what it takes to become a chaperon. You don't have to worry about being asked about your own sexual behavior or desires. The lessons you will go through were written after a lot of chaperons have already been trained. These lessons are based upon experience with these other chaperons, so you can be sure that the lessons will address a lot of your questions. Hopefully, you will have a better understanding of sexual misconduct.
