Historical newspapers are an excellent resource for genealogists and historians. They often contain details that can supplement existing court records, or replace lost ones, as well as unique information found nowhere else.

The Clayton Tribune, 1902 is the second volume in a series abstracting the earliest extant newspapers for Rabun County, Georgia. Thirty-one issues survive for that year. Items abstracted include community news, legal notices, births and deaths, marriages, comings and goings, school news, and more.
