The Constant Sweetness Within is collection of personal essays, poetry and photographs; it is a multi-layered artistic project that captures the journey and evolution of a human on this planet; but more specifically, it explores the journey of a Black woman navigating the intersections of race, gender, politics, marital status and spirituality. The book explores themes of trauma, reconciliation, power, powerlessness, hope and love.
