The Faircloth Family History - 2012 is an updated version of the William Faircloth I and Edward Faircloth lineages dating back to the early 1500s including the Faircloth who helped to translate the Bible into the King James version, one of the Oxford Seven learned scholars of old England. New information dating as far back as the 1500s, has been added to this edition. Recently discovered photographs from the early 1940s and 1950s have also been included. This book contains information primarily documenting the Virginia and Sampson County Faircloth's and their families including census records, war records (Revolutionary War, War Between the States, Indian Wars, etc.), court documents, Last Wills and Testaments, and land deeds. It also contains interesting stories such as the paymaster back in the Revolutionary War who created soldiers to pay himself multiple times as well as noted accomplishments of past and present Faircloths. Burial locations are noted as well as the present status of living Faircloth's in these lines. This is the last work by this author after an exhausting 30 years of research and documentation. May God rest all the Faircloth souls who have gone before us and give peace to all those present and future family members.
