Long, long ago, a Little Bunny lost her mother and father. But a kindly, nice-looking Grandma Wolf adopted her. One day, a scary Black Bear came to visit their house. Worrying about Grandma Wolf's safety, she listened to them talking, but found out that they were making a horrible plan! Grandma Wolf was planing to send her to the Black Bear! Scared and sad, Little Bunny looked at the birds flying freely in the sky and cried, "White pigeons! If I could have wings like you, I would break away from this cage and find a place without danger and fear!" She cried herself to sleep in front of the window. The next day when she woke up, on the desk in front of her, was a pile of feathers as white and soft as snow...

Author Biography

Mou Aili has a PhD degree in Dramatic Literature and is an Associate Professor in the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Her research focuses on creative drama for children and the interdisciplinary design of picture books and dramas. Her book Rice Dumpling Kid won the award of "100 Books for Mothers and Children on Weibo" in 2018. Her works have been selected in "The First National Animation Art Exhibition," "The First Chinese Illustration Art Exhibition," and others.
