Author Biography

KAIDA Yuji is synonymous with Godzilla and monster movies. An incredibly gifted graphic artist, he has had a successful career spanning 44 years, during which time he has created countless captivating pieces of art featuring the various Toho monsters. Although he has drawn all of the major kaiju over the years, including King Ghidorah and Mothra, it is his drawings of Godzilla, in all his varied forms, that remain the most well-loved.
