Author Biography

Matt Stewart is an Emmy-award winning television reporter and news anchor in Kansas City. A Royals fan for more than 35 years, Matt has covered the team extensively during his two decades as a journalist in Kansas City. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and played football for the Wildcats in the mid-1990s, when the team won two Big Ten championships. He details his experiences in his first book, The Walk-On. He is also the author of several other books, including Unique Eats and Eateries of Kansas City.
