The Legend of the Rainbow offers an adaptation from the Lakota Sioux story of the rainbow. The Sioux comprise Tetons, Dakotas, Blackfeet, Oglala, Hunkpapa, and others. The land is west of the Mississippi River. Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, and Red Cloud number among famous Sioux Chiefs.

A portion of proceeds from sales of The Legend of the Rainbow will be donated to the Rosebud Reservation.
