Caroline was studying for a doctoral degree in biology, when she was overtaken by her passion for storytelling. She and Bertrand-known for his comics script writing-became a writing duo and have never looked back. They have worked together on several successful series in France, including \u003ci\u003eChinn\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eThe Misfits Club for Girls\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eMaya, whose real name is Martina Mura, is an Italian-born cartoonist from the seaside town of Alghero, Sardinia.
