I know you're wondering why so much emphasis is put on the "Truth". The reason is when a foundation starts with a lie, it must be maintained with lies to keep it from crumbling or cracking. However, if you build a foundation on truth and a lie is uncovered, truth still has the potential and the power to prevail. Although truth may hurt at first for both the one hearing it and the one telling it, telling the truth will make both free. There will be freedom to be truthful and a freedom to trust! Where truthfulness is absent, so is the desire to trust.
