Author Biography

Nancy A. Almodovar is currently an Adjunct Professor of World Religions while she is also a doctoral candidate in Philosophy and Apologetics at Trinity Theological Seminary. She earned her BA in Theology and MA in Philosophy and Theology with a concentration in Christian Apologetics and World Religions from Trinity as well. Married to Rev. Roberto Almodovar she and her husband run a Non-Profit organization called Silent Cry Ministries. Raised in a Christian home, after her conversion at 19, her father, Peter F. Shore Sr. began to aide her in biblical studies through the works of Reformed and Evangelical ministers such as D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, J.C. Ryle, Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Owen and Jonathan Edwards. A speaker, author and frequent radio guest on Calvary Perspectives and Iron Sharpens Iron, Nancy's passion is that believers will study the great doctrines of the bible in order to be better equipped to raise their children for Jesus Christ. She currently runs a Facebook group called "Old Paths for Today's Women" a group teaching women about the Doctrines of Grace which the Reformers recovered.
