He studied at Detroit Bible College and is a graduate of Welch College with a BS in Bible and music. He also has a MM in music education from Georgia State University and has a certificate in Transitional Interim Pastorate from The Tennessee Baptist Convention in Brentwood Tennessee. His ministry has been in the states of North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
