He was educated at Beijing University, and received his Ph.D. in literature in 1997. Zang has won numerous honors and awards, and is an associate professor at Beijing University. He has published many books of poetry, most recently the collected \u003ci\u003eHorseback Riders and Soymilk\u003c\/i\u003e (2015), and edited several major anthologies of modern and contemporary Chinese poetry. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eEleanor Goodman is a writer and a translator from Chinese. She is a Research Associate at the Fairbank Center at Harvard University, and is currently at Peking University on a Fulbright Fellowship.
