She served as Editor of Feminist Economics from 2010 to 2017 and as consultant for the ILO, UNDP, UNRISD, UN Women, and the World Bank. Recently, she worked with the UNDP and UN Women in the development of new gender equality and women's empowerment indices.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEbru Kongar is Professor of Economics at Dickinson College, USA. Her research focuses on the gendered time-use and labor market outcomes of macroeconomic developments, such as deindustrialization, offshoring, and the Great Recession in the US economy.
