Following on from their thrilling summer adventure in The Mystery of Tully Hall, the four Jenny, James, Barrie and Liz are back together again at Grey Owls for the autumn term of year 8.

An outdoor activity week in Northumberland promises to be an exciting time, but the four soon find themselves with another thrilling mystery to solve. Barrie senses there is something just not quite right about Flittermouse Cliffs. In no time at all they work together to try and thwart a cunning plot. Not only do Jenny, James, Barrie and Liz have to the criminal to outsmart, but there is an enemy within who will do anything to stop them. Will it prove too much for the four?

The series of book, promote in children the values of honesty, kindness, hard work and courage. Young readers will feel comfortable in a technology-enabled world while seeing too how technology can be a mixed blessing.
