There were so many times I wanted to just stop writing this. Stop reliving the painful memories that each sentence brought up. There was so much fear and apprehension about putting so much personal tragedy out there for the world to see. But I knew that this story needed to be told not only to help me but anyone who has ever suffered from addiction whether it was their personal demon or as the result of a loved ones. This is not a story with a happy ending but one with a message.
