Author Biography

Sibylle von Olfers (1881-1916) was a German children's author and illustrator. She is the creator of the beloved Nature Children books: The Story of Root Children, The Story of the Snow Children, The Story of the Butterfly Children, and The Story of the Wind Children. Her art nouveau illustration style has been likened to Kate Greenaway and Elsa Beskow.
