Author Biography

Amy Petrie Shaw is a writer and mixed media artist who wears black, runs with scissors, and always knows where her towel is. Amy can be found in Hartland, Wisconsin, where she and co-conspirator Brian share a home with Nike the Great, Marshmallow the Outdoor Invader, and the Dippy Cat. Amy tried to be sophisticated once, but a raccoon ate her cigarette holder. Rumor has it that Shaw is the alter-ego of the Reverend Amy Shaw, a reputable Unitarian Universalist minister and the pastor of Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church in Hartland. Attempts to question Rev. Shaw about this rumor were thwarted, as she would only say "No comment" and "Watch the cat, she bites." A raccoon peed on us as we left.
