Author Biography

The young author, Syead Wahabuddin Nasir, has visited many national parks, tiger reserves and wildlife sanctuaries in India and Nepal, including the world-famous Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve, Ranthambhore National Park, Kaziranga National Park, Bandipur National Park, Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary, Valmiki Tiger Reserve, Sunderbans Biosphere Reserve, Chitwan National Park and many more. The author has been interested in wildlife and conservation since his school days. When he was in school, the author wrote a detailed account of his visit to Corbett, Ranthambhore and other national parks. This was published in the form of a book entitled Wonderful Days in Tiger Lands, in the year 2012.

At present, Syead is a final-year student of B.Sc. Botany (Honours) at the prestigious Patna Science College, Patna University, one of the oldest universities of India. The author is keenly interested in studying wildlife. He is a young wildlife activist and a regular visitor to the tiger reserves. He aspires to become a sincere forest officer and contribute to conservation efforts.
