After completing an advanced training (Fellowship) in Boston with Harvard teacher and world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr Richard Webster, Dr. Fanous was offered a teaching position at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he is presently chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and associate professor at the Department of Head and Neck Surgery. He is a founding member of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e Dr Fanous is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
