Five seventh graders-an unplanned summer-a band of bullies-a Korean War veteran-a nosey neighbor-a service project-a lost relative. These elements become the focus of The W.I.S.E. Guys. Without any idea how each will get through the summer ahead, Bug, Addy, Kate, Pres, and Amy Joy come together. As they work on a solution, they become good friends and learn valuable life lessons.

The W.I.S.E. Guys is the brain child of three former teachers who had lots of "wise guys" in their classrooms over the years.
