The Thomas Edison Elementary School-Wide Spelling Bee is coming up. Fifth grader Abby wonders what it feels like to win a blue ribbon in spelling. There's only one problem-she thinks she's the worst speller in Mrs. Bellamy's classroom. When she makes friends with a new student named Cee Cee, Abby learns that part of winning is about believing special help will come if she asks for it.
