This topic is examined in view of Old Testament Scriptures and New Testament Scriptures. From the Bible, the author shows God's unity of purpose with regard to the redemption and reconciliation of fallen mankind. He also demonstrates that God's requirements for such redemption and reconciliation of man have always been the same, That salvation comes only through the obedience of faith, that faith is more than belief only--it is trust and love and obedience to God's commandments. He shows that Jesus, the Son of God and the Father taught exactly the same truths in OT and NT times, and that the blood of Christ forgives all repented sins, regardless of when the sinner may have lived. The age or the 'dispensation' is of no significance or consequence with regard to a persons salvation.Dr. Anderson believes that all known theological systems of belief are flawed to some degree because they are products of man's efforts. He therefore defers to God's Word for truth.
