Many times we read the Bible and the people in it appear as just characters in a story, however, they were real, living, human beings! They had families, feelings, faced disappointments and failures. They were not perfect, not sinless, and many did not possess the faith to move mountains-but they knew who they believed in.

This book gives each of the women represented a voice that is uniquely their own. As I sat with each woman and read their stories I knew they had back stories that needed to be told. I tell their stories in their own words, as I imagine they might be, to bring to light their own potential struggles and victories as women. While each woman's story comes straight from the Bible, this is a work of fiction, mixed with the realities of life that we as women face each day. Every story may not pertain to you personally, but my prayer is that you will learn a lesson or relate to each woman's struggle or trial somehow. In the end, we will see these biblical women were just like us and we can overcome, just as they did!
