Thus begins the story of a grave robber Pietro who in 1420 defiled the grave of a Bishop. When he awakened he was chained to a large black dog Natas. The dog led him to a nearby battlefield. The dog would start to devour the corpses, but when Pietro intervened and cared for the wounded, the dog was quiet. For the next four hundred years, Pietro with dog wandered the battlefields around the globe caring for the wounded. Eventually, in this journey he discovers redemption.
