Allan has a BA in communications from American University, an MBA in marketing from Saint Joseph's University, and a PhD in mass media and communication from Temple University. Allan has published in the \u003ci\u003eJournal of Consumer Research, Journal of Business Research\u003c\/i\u003e, and the \u003ci\u003eJournal of Advertising Research\u003c\/i\u003e.
