Author Biography

Fawzia Gilani-Williams, Phd. is an educator, cluster librarian, youth advocate, and children's book author, whose work focuses on socio-emotional development, representation, inclusivity, and Islamic critical and literary theory. A practicing Muslim, her passion is providing "window and mirror" books for all kids. Originally from the UK, Fawzia and her family divide their time living in the UK, UAE and US.
