I changed to a local company, Remel Sims Trucking headquartered in Wenatchee, WA. (My home town) For the next 5 years I drove mostly between Central Washington and the Los Angeles Basin. As I neared retirement, I quit driving to L.A. and became the spare driver picking up and delivering in state shipments.
