There's something indulgent about a beach vacation that transports one away in a tropical daydream. Life is better in flip-flops with sandy toes and a sun-kissed nose where one can go with the flow. The ocean is everything- beautiful, mysterious, wild, and free.

Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, became my family's retreat where we left footprints of love guiding us into a tropical state of mind. We learned to soak up positive energy and make waves, not ripples.
