She is the founding editor\/publisher of \u003ci\u003eHip Mama\u003c\/i\u003e, an \u003ci\u003eAlternative Press\u003c\/i\u003e Award-winning publication covering the culture and politics of motherhood. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003eHer memoir, \u003ci\u003eAtlas of the Human Heart\u003c\/i\u003e, was a 2004 finalist for the Oregon Book Award.
