Karen Beaumont's many well-loved picture books include I Like Myself! and I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!, both illustrated by David Catrow. She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California.

Janet Stevens is the author and illustrator of many popular and award-winning books for children, including the Caldecott Honor book Tops & Bottoms. She lives in Boulder, Colorado.
