The only thing more devastating than losing a child is having your parental rights trampled on & losing a child. As a survivor of IPV (intimate partner violence), my biggest disadvantage in navigating the family court system was my socioeconomic status. Armed with a court-ordered child custody agreement, I somehow was alienated away from my son & was cut out of his life. My story will cause you to examine how unchecked judicial practice can impact your relationships with your children and possibly cause you to lose them.
