She lives in Orsono in the south of Chile Roberta Gordenstein is an Associate Professor of Spanish at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Her translations include Beloved Angels by Spanish poet Luz-Maria Jimenez and stories in the anthologies The House of Memory and Miriam's Daughters. Marjorie Agosin is a poet, writer and human rights activist. She is also a professor of Spanish at Wellesley College and editor of our Secret Weavers Series. Isabel Allende is a well known writer of fiction and nonfiction.
