This inspirational book contains stories about some of my most memorable songs and poems. These stories, as unbelievable as they seem, are true. I'm telling 100% truths about the experiences that inspired me to write, including my reign as Miss Black Chicago, a near fatal accident, and life as a believer. My life reads like a continuous soap opera full of many peaks and valleys that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Some of the words are inspired by tears, some by love, some by tragedy but all by God. My personal testimony is the biggest reason I decided to write this book. As an extra, I've included the lessons I've learned and my personal philosophy on existing in a world grown cold and deceptive. A lot of my negative experiences happened because I didn't pay attention to the signs God placed before me as a signal to stop. I've also missed blessings because I didn't move when he said go. I've learned a few secrets about listening to God and survival that I would like to share through my personal stories of triumphs, trials and downfalls.
