This book is a collection of sermons on the New Testament preached by the author in churches where he has been a pastor, intended mainly for lay audiences. Sermons are arranged according to the church year. The sermons can also double as devotional reading.

Author Biography

Jack R. Lundbom is a retired professor of Old Testament and Christian origins, also an ordained minister of the Evangelical Covenant Church, who has lectured, preached, and written extensively over a period of fifty years. Major works include commentaries on Jeremiah for the Anchor Bible (1999; 2004), Deuteronomy (2013), Jesus' Sermon on the Mount (2015), and two books of sermons, Oil Enough to Make the Journey on the Christian walk (Cascade, 2022) and I Will Remember Your Wonders of Old on texts of the Old Testament (Wipf & Stock, 2023).
